If you are not using a wedding coordinator, I can assist in planning the timeline.  I find that brides figure the timeline wrong and then stress on their wedding day that guests wont enjoy themselves.  If you hire me as your DJ, I will sit down with you prior to the wedding a couple times (if needed) and work with you and your groom.  I will have this timeline with me the night of the reception and I will make sure the other vendors are on the same page.  I will work with them to make your night run as smooth as possible.

I remember one wedding where I was a guest and felt so bad.  The DJ didn't let anyone know about the first dance except the couple themselves.  He started the song and family was scrambling once they realized it was the first dance.  Not even the photographer was ready, for they were in the bathroom and missed the entire dance.  I have seen so many things go wrong at weddings, don't just get the cheapest, or use friends that want to help.  Just because they have a camera - that doesn't make them a photographer.  Just because they have lots of CDs and a stereo - doesn't mean they can entertain hundreds of guest.  Make sure you get the best there is and they will make sure your night is remembered for years to come.
