• back to school

For several years, my kids went to Shelley Elementary in American Fork, Utah.  Tradition was that on the first day of school the teachers and staff would line the walkway to the front door and welcome the students back in style.  Each year had a specific theme and we would dress for the occassion.  This particular it was 'We Are All 'Superheroes'.  I donned an Incredibles shirt and disquised myself with a mask.  Was I part of the staff...not exactly...I was the DJ.  I played tunes old and new to set the mood and get everyone excited for the first day of school.

I remember some of the kids asking for pictures with me and this one stood out.  A mother posted the picture on Facebook and someone asked a question...from the comments on her post...

    JENNIFER #1 - "Who's the photo-bomber?"

MELISSA - "LOL Jennifer, I had no idea. We were talking and he said his kids go to our school and that he is a local DJ, so he DJ's all of the school events (back to school, dance festival, walk-a-thon, etc.) for free. He asked Porter if he knew what a photo-bomb was and Porter had no idea. The guy was like, just wait and you'll find out. So I sort of knew he was going to do it, just not sure when or how. He was really nice and funny. I could see why he is a great DJ, tons of personality!"

Jennifer #2 - "Stretch is a hoot!! He and Leif were in the same singles ward."
