I had an amazing opportunity to attend "Utah's Got Talent" at UVU on June 11, 2009. The bands that performed were all absolutely amazing, but there was definitely a stand out winner. The last band to compete was the one pictured above. Any guesses who they are before they were one of the biggest bands to rock the music charts?
An interesting tidbit is there are a couple people in the band that decided to pursue other avenues shortly after this competition. The votes were tallied and they announced that the winner in fact was the band pictured above.
It was time for the main event which was Kelly Clarkson. She was spunky, very entertaining and performed hits from her first four albums. All in all it was one amazing night.
If you are still reading in hopes that I answer your question, who is the band pictured? It is IMAGINE DRAGONS. They performed a song called, CLOUDS. They have never been abled to record it to the perfection they seek in their music so it has remained in our minds and in a few YouTube videos. I know I have a video from that night and may post it here in the future.
